YESS..... this blog was also amongst 90% of the blogs... ABANDONED.. until I finally got a visitor (my frnd bunny) who motivated me enough to update it....
It has been more than 4 months, the last post I had was on 13 Nov '06... yeah really long time...

I wanted to add something to my blog... was thinking wat to write.. then I saw sthing.. on Orkut (in someones scarpbook) that caught my attention before the receipent deleted it!!
well someone had posted the lil poems we used to sing in Kindergarden......
SILLY!!! I know ... but I get nostalgic.. quite easily ;)
and for ppl who don't know Hindi ... I'm sorry again... but can't help it...

Machhali Jal ki Rani hai
Jeewan uska paani hai
hath lagao darr jayegi
bahar nikalo mar jayegi...
Posham pa bhai posham
pasau(100) rupay ki ghadi churayi
ab to jail mein jana padega
jail ki roti khana padega
jail ka pani peena padega
thayi thuiya thushmadari baba fushhhhhh....
Jhooth bolna paap hai
nadi kinare saanp hai
kali mai aayegi
tumko utha le jayegi...
aaj somvar hai,
chuhe ko bukhar hai
chuha gaya doctor ke pass
doctor ne lagayi suichula bola ooooiiiii
aalu-kachalu beta kaha gaye the
bandar ki jhopdi mein so rahe the
bandar ne laat maari ro rahe the
mummy ne paise diye has rahe the
titlee udi,bus mein chadi
seet na mili ,to rone lagi
driver bola aaja mere pass
titlee boli "hat badmash"
chanda mama door ke
puye pakaye bhoor ke
aap khaye thali mein
munne ko de pyali mein
after reading and singing those...
I laugh and CRY ... @ the same time

made me nostalgic as well...
well i jus go thru these poems n know wat,,i luv it.. and its interesting to know that these poems r still in use in many parts of our country. i dun remember all of em tho.. esp like that butterfly one(titli).i heard it long time back from a lil child and i still remember her facial expressions when she said "titli boli,, hut badmash"...[:D]
